Known issues

  Brand	Issue status
  Samsung OneUI	Hard to replicate, seems to only be present in some device?
  Xiaomi/POCO	Won’t fix. Caused by Xiaomi’s anti-consumer practice. (I can’t even if I want to.)

• Crash when moving or resizing widgets on some devices.
  • A major cause of this has been fixed in 1.9-fix3, but I’m still getting some report of it happening, maybe there’s still other causes.
• When opening bottom sheet UIs, in some condition, the status bar will have the incorrect color.
  • Caused by the current Compose ModalBottomSheet implementation, I don’t have a fix at the moment.
  • There should be a way to fix this in the current Compose, I’ll look into it in the near future.
• Widget delete button is out of bound when the widget is filling the whole screen.
• Contact list can’t be retrieved in some devices.
• Quick Launch can sometime bugged out when opening it.
  • Should be fixed in the next release.

• New Features
  • Shortcut Pinning
    • Pinned Shortcuts behave the same as apps and contacts, they use the same suggestion rating system, can be scribble searched or pinned onto Quick Launch.
    • The full list of them are shown on the top of the app list, sorted by their package name then their display name.
    • Alias is not supported for now since most app allow you to set custom name at creation time already.
  • Hardware Keyboard support
    • You can now use physical keyboard to input scribble search query and control home pages, including launching items through key combinations.
    • For detail usage, launch the Keyboard Shortcuts Helper by pressing Meta + /.

  • Private Space support (Android 15+)
  • Clone app support (Android 15+)
    • Clone apps will be shown in the main app list and can be searched just like normal.
  • On-device logging (optional, disabled by default)
    • Enable it via Settings -> Developer Options -> Enable Logging.
    • When enabled, the Send Feedback option allows you to include logs.
    • All logs are stored locally on your device; nothing is sent without your consent.
• Scribble Search Changes
  • Search result now highlight matched letters.
  • Search is now based on regex \b tag, symbols are now counted as word separators:
    • For example: Yeet-That*123 will be treated as 3 words: Yeet, That & 123.
  • Refactored search token collection (again). Should result in a slight speed improvement.

  • Scribbled letters now always display with an uppercase first letter and lowercase for the rest.
  • Accented & non-accented letters are now interchangeable in search.

    • Symbol scribbling has been disabled due to this change.
